India, May 10 -- A major security scare was reported in Bengaluru on Sunday after explosive material was recovered near the venue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's programme on the city's outskirts. Authorities intensified security measures and launched an investigation into the incident.

According to police, two gelatin sticks were found during routine security checks near Kagalipura, close to the route linked to the Prime Minister's visit to the Art of Living International Centre. The explosives were reportedly discovered around 3 kilometres from the main event venue.
