India, July 1 -- During the period of June 21 to June 27, Indian Army and Assam Rifles formations under Spear Corps, in close coordination with Manipur Police and Central Security Forces, conducted a series of intelligence-based joint operations across Kangpokpi, Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal and Kakching districts.

The operations led to the apprehension of six cadres belonging to various proscribed outfits and the recovery of arms, ammunition, explosives and other war-like stores.

On June 24 and June 26, Assam Rifles, in joint operations with Manipur Police and a CRPF Battalion, unearthed a major cache of arms, ammunition, and war-like stores from the general areas of Loiching Ridge, Maohing, and North Changoubung in Kangpokpi Dist...
