India, Sept. 28 -- Bollywood actor Salman Khan has spoken out against the misuse of Artificial Intelligence, calling for strict action against those who create fake AI-generated videos and urging authorities to introduce laws to curb such content.

Khan discussed the issue on "Bigg Boss 20", with a video of his remarks circulating online.

The actor said the rapid advancement of AI had become "scary" and described the misuse of the technology as a serious concern.

"Someone made an AI video, or did AI voice dubbing, it is wrong. AI has progressed so much, it is very scary. It is a very serious thing," he said.

Khan said people were using AI to edit or manipulate statements and create videos involving individuals without their consent.
