SAIL's Q1 FY27 profit surges on financial discipline, operational efficiency
India, July 30 -- State-owned Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) reported a sharp year-on-year rise in profit for the first quarter of FY27, attributing the performance to financial discipline, operational efficiency and strategic investments despite global headwinds.
Commenting on the company's performance, SAIL Chairman and Managing Director Ashok Kumar Panda said the results reflected the strength of the company's integrated strategy.
