India, June 15 -- The Kerala Devaswom Minister has sought the withdrawal of a Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) circular that appointed officials who are currently facing investigation in the ongoing Sabarimala gold-related controversy, intensifying the political and administrative row surrounding the temple management.

The directive comes amid continuing scrutiny of alleged irregularities in the handling of gold-plated artefacts at the Sabarimala temple, which is already under investigation by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) and other agencies. The case involves allegations of misappropriation, record discrepancies, and procedural lapses in the custody and renovation of temple valuables.
