India, July 14 -- Lebanon and Israel have resumed U.S. brokered talks in Rome in an effort to implement a framework agreement aimed at ending months of cross-border hostilities. The discussions focus on securing an Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon, strengthening the deployment of the Lebanese Army, and advancing plans for the gradual disarmament of armed groups in designated areas. Italy is hosting the negotiations as part of international efforts to stabilise the region.
