India, Nov. 2 -- Two eliminations within a weekend have reshaped the two Bigg Boss editions now on air, with Rohit reportedly leaving the Telugu season after a vote by his fellow contestants and Aasif Khan exiting the Hindi version after falling short of audience votes. The exits drew emotional responses from viewers.

Rohit's removal from Bigg Boss Telugu 10 was, by all accounts, unanticipated. Neither the studio audience nor the show's followers had counted on his departure, and the call was taken by the housemates rather than put to a public poll. Supporters reacted with anger and disappointment, and many have been pressing for his return to the house. Whether the programme's producers will pay heed to that demand is not yet known.
