RJD MP Manoj Jha urges PM Modi to stop demolition of Mohammad Ali Jauhar University buildings
India, July 20 -- Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging the Centre to intervene and halt the proposed demolition of 38 buildings at Mohammad Ali Jauhar University in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. In his letter, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader described the planned action as a serious threat to higher education and appealed for steps to protect the interests of thousands of students studying at the institution.
