India, Oct. 14 -- REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSU under the Ministry of Power, handed over two project-specific Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), namely Jam Khambhaliya Jamnagar Power Transmission Limited and Lakadia II Power Transmission Limited, to the respective successful bidders on 12th October 2026.

The projects were awarded through the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route, with RECPDCL as the Bid Process Coordinator, for development of the projects on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis.
