India, Oct. 5 -- Bidi and tea tycoon and Democratic Trinamool Congress MLA from Sagardighi in Murshidabad, Bayron Biswas, has been hospitalised with severe burn injuries, sources in the rebel TMC group said, adding he suffered burns in a fire at his residence in Murshidabad's Samserganj. The incident occurred on Saturday.

He was admitted to a nursing home with about 30 percent burn injuries, mostly to his legs and hands, sources said, adding his condition was stable.
