India, April 3 -- The Prime Minister's Museum and Library (PMML) inaugurated "The Archives of PMML", an exhibition featuring rare and significant documents that capture defining moments in India's history. The event was presided over by PMML Chairman Nripendra Misra in the presence of PMML Director Ashwani Lohani.
For the first time, PMML is presenting a curated selection from its vast archival collection, considered one of the most comprehensive in the country, with over 25 million documents spanning more than 1,300 collections.
Among the highlights are Mahatma Gandhi's 1932 letter on spiritual unity, Jawaharlal Nehru's handwritten draft of the historic "Tryst with Destiny" speech, and correspondence from Atal Bihari Vajpayee during th...
