India, Sept. 4 -- Ghaziabad is rapidly emerging as a modern and dynamically developing city, carving out a new identity for itself. The growing pace of development activities, residential and infrastructure development, along with the expansion of investment and construction-related activities, is having a clear and positive impact on the revenue collection of the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA).

During the current financial year 2026-27, from April to August, the GDA has recorded revenue of Rs 7,111.24 lakh (approximately Rs 71.11 crore) under the Development Charges head, compared to Rs 3,950.33 lakh (approximately Rs 39.50 crore) during the corresponding period of financial year 2025-26.
