India, Oct. 23 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday called upon the Army Commanders to closely monitor geopolitical as well as regional developments and remain prepared for future challenges. He also stressed the need for a long-term strategic vision spanning next 20-30 years.

Making these points while addressing the Army Commanders' Conference in New Delhi, he urged the top brass to remain equally prepared to respond to immediate and emerging challenges.
