India, May 19 -- India and Vietnam are taking another important step toward strengthening their strategic relationship as Defence Minister Rajnath Singh held bilateral talks with Vietnamese Defence Minister Phan Van Giang in Hanoi.

The discussions mainly focused on expanding cooperation in defence, technology, and regional security matters.

The visit comes at a time when India is actively strengthening partnerships across the Indo-Pacific region.
