India, June 23 -- A major mishap was averted on Tuesday after a Rajasthan Roadways bus travelling from Kishangarh to Ajmer caught fire, triggering panic among passengers on board.

The bus, carrying around 37 passengers, suddenly began emitting smoke while en route. The driver, Ram Avatar, quickly acted on noticing the situation and pulled the vehicle over to the roadside, helping avert a potential tragedy.

All passengers were safely evacuated with the assistance of the conductor before the fire rapidly intensified and engulfed the bus. Within minutes, the vehicle was completely engulfed in flames.
