India, Oct. 30 -- Moderate to heavy rainfall across several parts of Hyderabad on Friday evening brought relief to residents after a prolonged dry spell but disrupted traffic movement, with waterlogging reported at multiple locations across the city.

The Hyderabad Traffic Police advised residents to avoid unnecessary travel and plan their journeys accordingly, warning of moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by intense thunderstorms over Khairatabad, Secunderabad, Golconda, Charminar, Chandrayangutta and Rajendranagar over the next two hours. Scattered moderate rainfall and thunderstorms were also expected in Jubilee Hills and Shamshabad.
