India, July 14 -- The PWD is planning to take upgradation work of the ITO pump house, which caters to several areas around the area, officials said on Monday. The ITO pump house is responsible for areas along the Vikas Marg, near the Supreme Court metro station, and Tilak Bridge underpass, all of which remain on the watchlist of waterlogging hotspots for the Public Works Department (PWD).

"We plan to install an all-weather sub station at ITO pump house, so that the power supply to the pumping systems remains uninterrupted even during heavy rains and winds. Automatic digital alarm systems will also be installed," a senior PWD official said.
