Punjabi Singer arrested with 5 kg Heroin, Rs.1.5 lakh drug money in Ludhiana drug bust
India, May 26 -- In a major drug bust, Police in Punjab arrested Punjabi singer Harbir Singh Sohal along with other accused persons in connection with an alleged international drug trafficking network. Police recovered over 5 kg of heroin and Rs.1.5 lakh suspected drug money during the operation.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police, Darpan Ahluwalia, the investigation began on March 7 when Doraha police intercepted a Toyota Etios during routine checking and recovered 301 grams of heroin from one of the occupants.
Subsequent interrogation led to further recoveries, including additional heroin, synthetic drugs, live cartridges, and suspected drug proceeds. Investigators said the accused were part of a wider supply chain operating...
