India, May 31 -- A violent clash between a group of tourists from Punjab and local youths in Himachal Pradesh's popular tourist destination, Kasol, left one person injured after gunfire erupted at a hotel. The incident reportedly took place at Hotel Green Valley on Saturday evening when an argument between the two groups escalated into a physical confrontation.

During the altercation, one of the tourists allegedly pulled out a pistol and fired, injuring a local youth in the leg and triggering panic among residents and visitors.

Police rushed to the spot after receiving information about the firing and detained four individuals from Punjab in connection with the case.
