India, June 6 -- At least 9 people lost their lives and around 15 others sustained injuries in a devastating road accident in Punjab's Ferozepore district on Saturday. The tragedy occurred when a truck collided with a jeep carrying multiple passengers, triggering a major rescue operation.

According to officials, the impact of the collision was severe, leaving several victims trapped inside the damaged vehicle. Local residents and emergency responders rushed to the spot and assisted in rescuing the injured.
