Punjab Police dismantled ISI-backed terror module
India, April 7 -- In a well-coordinated intelligence-led operation, the Counter-Intelligence wing of Punjab Police has dismantled an ISI-backed terror module being run by Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs). Three accused have been apprehended, and two hand grenades along with a foreign-made Glock pistol have been recovered, police officials said on Monday.
The operation highlights strong cross-border linkages, with the recovered hand grenades bearing clear markings of the Pakistan Ordnance Factory (POF). This recovery points to the supply of arms and explosives from Pakistan for use in anti-India activities.
