India, Aug. 2 -- Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria on Saturday urged the youth to pursue excellence with integrity, remain committed to education and public service, and contribute to nation-building.

Addressing a felicitation ceremony for successful civil services candidates organised by Sankalp IAS at Punjab Lok Bhavan, Kataria said every honest effort, irrespective of the profession, strengthens the nation and helps realise the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

He praised Sankalp IAS for mentoring civil services aspirants and said the institution has emerged as one of the country's leading centres for producing successful IAS, IPS and other civil services officers.
