India, May 13 -- Prateek Yadav, businessman and husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav, passed away in Lucknow on Wednesday morning at the age of 38.

According to sources, Prateek Yadav was brought to Civil Hospital around 6 am, where doctors declared him brought dead. The exact cause of death has not yet been disclosed and a post mortem examination is currently underway.

Prateek Yadav was the son of Mulayam Singh Yadav and his second wife Sadhana Gupta. He was also the stepbrother of Akhilesh Yadav.
