Police trace 193 missing people, including 48 children in June
India, July 3 -- South-West Delhi Police traced and reunited 193 missing persons, including 48 missing or kidnapped children, with their families during June under its ongoing "Operation Milap", officials said on Thursday.
According to the police, those rescued between June 1 and June 30 comprised 48 children and 145 adults. The district police made the recoveries through coordinated search operations involving local enquiries, analysis of CCTV footage, and extensive fieldwork. Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-West) Amit Goel said police teams displayed "dedication and professionalism" in the process.
