India, April 19 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Ganga Expressway in Uttar Pradesh on April 29 in Hardoi district, an official statement announced on Saturday.  The 594-km-long expressway, one of the flagship projects of the Yogi Adityanath Government, will connect Meerut to Prayagraj.

According to the statement, the project received cabinet approval in 2020 and was implemented as a priority.  The expressway originates from Bijoli village in Meerut and terminates near Judapur Dandu village in Prayagraj, linking western and eastern Uttar Pradesh.
