India, July 5 -- NHPC's 300 MW Karnisar solar power plant at Bikaner, Rajasthan, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through virtual mode on Saturday. The project marks a significant addition to India's renewable energy capacity and underscores the nation's commitment to clean energy.

The virtual inauguration was held in the presence of Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri, and Deputy Chief Ministers Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa.
