India, July 3 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to make his first official visit to New Zealand next week, marking the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the country in nearly 40 years.
The announcement was made by New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, who described the upcoming trip as a historic milestone in strengthening ties between the two nations.
Modi is expected to arrive in Auckland on July 10 for a brief visit, during which he will hold discussions with New Zealand leaders on expanding cooperation in trade, investment, education, technology, and regional security.
