India, April 28 -- PM Narendra Modi inaugurated development projects worth over Rs.1,050 crore in Varanasi and laid the foundation stone for additional projects valued at around Rs.5,300 crore, marking a major infrastructure push in his Lok Sabha constituency.
During his two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh, the Prime Minister inaugurated 48 completed projects and launched 112 new ones covering sectors such as healthcare, urban development, transport, water supply, and tourism.
Key completed projects include the widening of the Varanasi-Azamgarh road, rail over bridges at Kazzakpura and Kadipur, and a 55 MLD sewage treatment plant in Bhagwanpur aimed at improving sanitation infrastructure.
