India, July 4 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the new terminal building at Jodhpur Airport and launched the Modified UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) Scheme, aimed at expanding regional air connectivity and making air travel more accessible across India.

Built at a cost of Rs.480 crore, the new terminal spans over 23,000 square metres and is designed to handle up to 20 lakh passengers annually, significantly boosting aviation infrastructure in Rajasthan.
