India, May 18 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has departed for Norway after concluding his official visit to Sweden, where India and Sweden elevated their bilateral ties to a Strategic Partnership.

During his visit to Sweden, PM Modi held detailed discussions with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, focusing on strengthening cooperation in key sectors such as trade, technology, innovation and defence.

The visit marked an important milestone in India-Sweden relations, with both sides agreeing to expand collaboration in emerging areas and deepen economic engagement.
