PM Modi, President Murmu to inaugurate projects worth Rs.47,600 crore in Odisha
India, June 20 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined President Droupadi Murmu in Odisha on Saturday to inaugurate and dedicate development projects worth more than Rs.47,600 crore, marking two years of the state government and underscoring the Centre's focus on tribal welfare and infrastructure development.
The Prime Minister began his visit in Pahadpur village of Mayurbhanj district, the native village of President Murmu. Accompanied by the President, he offered prayers at the revered Santhali Jahera, Goshani Peeth and Ho Jahera sacred groves and interacted with members of the local tribal community.
