India, April 22 -- A plea has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking contempt proceedings and issuance of non-bailable warrants (NBW) against businessman Satinder Singh Bhasin for not surrendering in connection with the alleged Grand Venice Mall scam despite the apex court's order.
The top court had on April 2 set aside the bail granted to Bhasin, the director of Bhasin Infotech and Infrastructure Private Limited (BIIPL), and directed him to surrender before the jail authorities within a week.
