Petrol and Diesel prices hiked again by over Rs.2.5 Per litre, 4th Increase in 10 Days
India, May 25 -- State-run oil marketing companies have once again increased fuel prices across the country, raising petrol rates by Rs.2.61 per litre and diesel by Rs.2.71 per litre. This marks the fourth revision in just 10 days, taking the total increase over the past fortnight to around Rs.7.35 for petrol and Rs.7.53 for diesel.
In Delhi, petrol now costs Rs.102.12 per litre, while diesel has climbed to Rs.95.20 per litre. With this latest hike, petrol has crossed the Rs.100 mark in the national capital for the first time in nearly four years, last seen above this level in May 2022.
