India, June 30 -- The Embassy of Peru in India commemorated the 205th anniversary of Peru's independence on June 23, highlighting growing bilateral ties. Minister of State for External Affairs, Pabitra Margherita, attended as the guest of honour. The embassy stated his presence demonstrated the Indian Government's high regard for its bonds of friendship and cooperation with Peru. Ambassador of Peru to India Javier Paulinich felicitated Minister Pabitra Margherita on the occasion. The ceremony drew over 400 guests, including senior Government officials, diplomats, business leaders, and the Peruvian community.
