India, July 7 -- A Patna court deferred the hearing on educator Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, and his anticipatory bail plea in connection with the coaching institute firing case until Wednesday.

The court also postponed the hearing on the bail applications of Khan Sir's two security guards, who are currently in judicial custody. The case stems from a firing incident in early June after a group of alleged miscreants vandalised Khan Global Coaching Institute in Patna. The security guards are accused of opening fire during the violence.
