Parvesh Singh reviews flood-prone spots in Delhi
India, June 6 -- Delhi PWD Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh on Friday said all necessary arrangements have been put in place ahead of the monsoon, with officials on high alert. The minister was on an inspection visit to the Zakhira underpass, one of the biggest waterlogging hotspots identified by Public Works Department (PWD).
"After the last spell of rains, PWD and the Delhi Jal Board officials have been continuously visiting identified waterlogging locations and assessing the situation on the ground," he told reporters after the visit. Singh said all necessary arrangements have already been completed ahead of the monsoon season.
