India, July 4 -- A shocking gang rape case in Pakistan has taken a new turn after one of the foreign victims alleged that a relative of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar demanded $100,000 for their release. The victim claimed she and another foreign national were abducted, sexually assaulted and held captive in Lahore, where the accused allegedly extorted money before they were freed.
Pakistani police have arrested four suspects, including Muhammad Raza Dar, who has been identified by multiple media reports as a relative of Ishaq Dar.
