Owaisi attacks Rajasthan Govt over civic amenities, infrastructure
India, Sept. 7 -- AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi on Sunday attacked the Rajasthan government over the condition of Jaipur's Walled City, alleging poor sanitation, roads, sewerage and basic civic amenities.
Owaisi said he saw garbage, broken roads and potholes while entering the old city, which is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Citing CAG reports, he alleged that only 11 to 25 per cent of urban waste in Rajasthan was being processed and questioned the utilisation of unspent municipal funds.
