India, June 21 -- A record 28,107 citizens visited various centres on the second day and directly availed themselves of different Government schemes and services. They received information related to various Government schemes, services and grievance redressal, and completed the required procedures at the camps.

Expressing satisfaction over the large public participation, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the widespread response to the Jan Kalyan Shivir is proof that the Delhi Government has been successful in taking public services directly to the people's doorstep. She said that when citizens can access officials from multiple departments under one roof close to their homes, it saves both time and effort.
