India, Oct. 4 -- Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra on Saturday said that Opposition political parties such as the Congress, Communist parties and the Aam Aadmi Party, which have been rejected by the people of the country, are now staging a hollow protest against the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC).

"Through this, they are vitiating the country's political atmosphere and putting undue pressure on the police and administration, while also damaging the business season that began across the country, including Delhi and Mumbai, from October 1," Malhotra said in a statement.
