India, March 12 -- Signatures have been collected for a notice seeking a motion for the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, sources said on Wednesday, adding that the MPs plan to submit the notice in both Houses of Parliament.
A senior MP familiar with the developments said they have finished collecting signatures, and the notice will be submitted either on Thursday or Friday. The MP also said the notice will be submitted to both Houses.
Around 120 MPs have so far signed the notice to be submitted to the Lok Sabha, and around 60 MPs have signed the notice to be submitted in the Upper House, the source said.
