India, July 27 -- OmniCard (Eroute Technologies Pvt. Ltd.), an RBI-licensed benefits and corporate spend management platform, on Monday announced the launch of its Flexi Benefits Basket on UPI, allowing employees to allocate their benefits across categories such as meals, fuel, telecom, books and periodicals, and gadgets.

The company said the benefits wallet can be used through UPI payments at more than 60 million merchants, including food outlets, fuel stations and bookstores.

Under the new offering, employees can decide how their benefits allowance is distributed across eligible categories, while merchant category-based controls are used to ensure spending remains within the prescribed limits.
