India, Aug. 14 -- The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) on Friday organised a Tiranga March in Delhi University's North Campus, with hundreds of NSUI students and members participating in the event led by its national president Vinod Jakhar, organisers said.

The march began from the School of Open Learning (SOL) Gate and culminated at Ramjas Chowk, where participants carried the national flag and raised slogans celebrating the values of freedom, unity, democracy and the Constitution.

Addressing the gathering, Jakhar said universities are the foundation of a democratic society and students should have the freedom to express their views, question authority and participate in discussions without fear.
