India, May 1 -- Noida International Airport will begin commercial flight operations from June 15, marking a major milestone for the long-awaited greenfield aviation project in Uttar Pradesh.

According to the airport operator, IndiGo will operate the first passenger flight, followed by services from Akasa Air and Air India Express shortly after launch.

The start of operations follows the airport's inauguration by Narendra Modi and the approval of its Aerodrome Security Programme (ASP) by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security. The clearance confirms that all safety, security, and operational protocols are in line with regulatory standards.
