India, April 24 -- The Chief Executive Officer of the Noida Authority has granted approval for medical insurance coverage for approximately 4,800 workers provided to the Authority, to be provided through the State Bank of India General Insurance Company.

This historic decision-to extend medical facilities to personnel supplied through labour contractors-was approved by the Board of Directors during the 215th Board Meeting of the Noida Authority, held on October 26, 2024.
