NEET aspirant dies by suicide in Karnataka's Kalaburagi, sparks concern over exam pressure
India, May 24 -- A tragic incident in Karnataka's Kalaburagi district has raised fresh concerns about the emotional pressure faced by students preparing for competitive examinations.
An 18-year-old NEET aspirant, identified as Bhagyashree, allegedly died by suicide at her home, leaving her family and local community in shock.
She had recently appeared for the medical entrance examination and was known to be a bright student with strong academic performance.
According to her father, Bhagyashree had scored 92 percent in her PUC examinations and was performing well academically.
Family members stated that there had been no major issues at home and they were unaware of any emotional distress she might have been facing.
