NDMC opens Rs 1 crore community toilet at Jodhpur Mess
India, Oct. 2 -- Residents of Pandara Road and surrounding areas got a new community toilet facility on Thursday, with Delhi Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh inaugurating NDMC's largest such facility at Jodhpur Mess under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. The minister called cleanliness not merely an amenity but a basic civic right of every citizen. Built at a cost of approximately '1 crore, the facility was developed with NBCC's CSR funds on land provided by NDMC. It includes separate facilities for men and women, CCTV cameras, and provisions for cleanliness, hygiene, safety and security.
