India, July 26 -- The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) on Saturday paid tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces, honouring their indomitable courage, valour and sacrifice, on the occasion of the 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas. A programme was organised on Saturday at Begampul Namo Bharat Station, in which school students and NCRTC officials participated.

The Chief Guest of the programme was Colonel Rajesh Tyagi (Retd.), who was part of the 4 Jat Regiment during the Kargil War. He has been conferred with numerous honors, including the Sena Medal, for his outstanding military contributions and distinguished service. He is currently serving as the Director of Subharti Defence Academy.
