NCPCR launches probe into alleged child abuse at Bengaluru daycare
India, July 3 -- The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has taken suo motu cognisance of the alleged physical abuse of children at a daycare centre operating inside the Capgemini campus in Bengaluru's Brookefield area.
The action follows the emergence of disturbing videos that allegedly showed toddlers being physically assaulted, triggering widespread public outrage. A fact-finding team from the Commission has been sent to Bengaluru to investigate the incident.
