India, March 21 -- In a remarkable display of endurance, discipline and teamwork, NCC cadets of Group HQs, Kohima successfully scaled Mt Saramati, the highest peak in Nagaland, at 6:30 am on Thursday.

The expedition team comprised two officers, three Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs), four Associate NCC Officers (ANOs), including two women officers and a contingent of NCC cadets consisting of 20 Senior Wing (SW) and 18 Senior Division (SD) cadets.

The success of the summit reflects the high standards of training, determination and leadership fostered within the NCC. Beating the challenging terrain and demanding weather conditions, the team demonstrated exceptional resilience and coordination throughout the expedition.
